Sehestedter Naturfarben

Sehestedt´s Hard Resin Oil

Soil and water resistant oil making all interior woods or open-pored stone and tiles treadproof, water and soil resistant.

The old easy-care oil sealing of floors giving the surface a deep breathable impregnation. A floor oil for high impact surfaces as stairs that should not be waxed for skid safety, for shops and moist areas where waxing is not reasonable, for new building sites where a wax coat is to be applied after having moved into the house.

Natural ingredients: linseed/wood/resin standoil, boiled down castor-oil, rosin ester as well as a mixture of terpene-pine and orange peel oil, and isoaliphate.

Application: Saturate surface with oil using a brush. Spread or remove unabsorbed oil after 15 minutes with sponge or lint-free cotton rag. Apply a sparing second coat after 12-18 hours. Again remove carefully or spread unabsorbed oil after 15-20 minutes. Treated surface should not be walked on for 12 hours, tread proof after 24 hours.

Coverage: 1.8 l/ 10m² for 2 coats depending on the condition and absorbency of the surface.

For natural cork tiles the oil is thicker to avoid soaking of the tiles and possibly dissolving the adhesive. Sehestedt's Cork Oil is applied in the same way as Natural Hard Resin Oil.
