Old F
urniture Varnish of
St.Petersburg
A bright shellac coating quality
with extremely high filling power and good running and adhesion , quickly drying. The
varnish is relatively hard wearing and easily polishable. Unlike the recipes of the last
century this varnish is also offered slightly matt to be in keeping with the times. It
should be applied undiluted in two to three coats with a good brush, but it can also be
sprayed. It is produced from naturally pure raw materials only as: superior lemon shellac
(bright top quality), sandarak ( a balsamic resin excretion of particular cypresses),
Manila-copal, benzoin, fermenting 100%alcohol and a wax matting agent for the matte
version.
Furniture Varnish of Sehestedt
A plain shellac coating quality
with very high filling power, good running and adhesion, quickly drying. The varnish is
relatively hard wearing and easy to polish. It is hand-made after recipes of the last
century. It should be applied undiluted in 2 - 3 coats with a good brush but it can also
be sprayed. After quick drying the varnish does not give off any toxic gases.
One single coat of the varnish reduces the
emission of formaldehyde to 21% and with PCP to values under 2% - a remarkable side effect
of this shellac!
It is produced from exclusively naturally
pure raw materials as: superior lemon shellac (bright top quality), Manila copal (a resin
similar to amber)m benzoin (a resin of the styrax tree , smelling like cinnamon), Venetian
turpentine (coniferous resin),
fermenting 100%alcohol.
Parisian Wood Varnish, bright
A very bright, colorless version of the above
described varnishes. As bleached wood varnish is considerably more expensive, this varnish
should only be applied where the color of the varnish itself is a problem.
English Polish
It is produced from exclusively naturally
pure raw materials as: superior lemon shellac (bright top quality), Manila copal (a resin
similar to amber) and fermenting 100% alcohol.
